Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the everyday things
of life,
Letting our thanks and happiness be replaced by
grief and strife.
Our list of “to-do” seems endless, and nothing
seems to go right,
We lose track of the important and blind becomes
our spiritual sight.
Dare to take a moment, and remember Christ’s great
love.
Our trials become more doable when aided with help
from above.
Wonderful will be the peace He brings for with Him
we need not roam.
Nearer to God we can become; by His help we can
make it home.
